OpenID

First of all, read this.

Second of all, if I can start using my deadjournal account on livejournal with full access to all of my icons, I will.

I'll also friend my flist over here, so I can read from this account, as well. My livejournal account was originally created to keep track of my flist without having to go through my bookmarks everyday to see who had updated. (Plus, I could be allowed to read f-locked posts with an account.)

I encourage people who've friended me in the past to friend my deadjournal sometime. No particular hurry about it, as my dj and lj get the same posts. However, when my livejournal stops being a paid account, I'll probably go back to solely posting to my deadjournal. This wasn't my original plan, but OpenID has just made my deadjournal ever so much more viable.

(I'll also probably get rid of the livejournal versions of Maliar and Shannon's journals.)

Also, can't wait till JournalFen picks this up. Yar, I'll be able to be non-anon for posting to Fandom_Wank!

ETA: Apparently, the friending of non-LJ people may not work like I think it will. We'll see how it goes when Deadjournal picks up OpenID, and I can really experiment.

As you can see, work is very slow right now. It doesn't help that the carhops are so bored that they're doing my job for me. If I weren't the only fountain person here today, I'd expect to be sent home.

I'm holding my breath for when the rush hits.

That being said, thought of something for my clinically depressed transformer character (make Marvin the Android jokes all you like; this was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] crowdog66). I've developed some interesting ways that he tries to control his depression and be a productive Decepticon, but I wondered why I would ever need to show off some of his more esoteric methods. For the most part, he uses programs of his own design to control himself, rather like normal people use medicines.

Well, after reading [livejournal.com profile] crowdog66's post tonight, I realized something important. The spark always overcomes programming, no matter how wonderful and excellent the programming is. Effervescence's depression will keep coming back as long as he lives, because it is intrinsic to his spark.
