SWINDLE! SWIIIIIIINDLE!

I think that's about all that needs to be said about this episode. Besides the fact that this Swindle actually does arms-dealing and wheeler-dealer things, unlike G1 Swindle. G1 Swindle's one on-screen attempt at that sort of thing led to him getting a bomb stuffed into his head.

Also, watching Swindle pull out his pack of weapons at the end was squee. "Don't you want to negotiate? ... Yeah, me neither."

I strongly suspect that whoever picks up Swindle from the police auction will be an agent of Megatron or Powell. Decepticons, at least, should not be one-episode wonder villains. Kind of ruins the cool-factor if they are.

Speaking of which, Soundwave needs to make a reprise.

Anyways. If I were Megatron, I wouldn't leave Swindle languishing. Even if he's failed in this instance, he's still generally really useful. After all, he took Slow-Mo's timepiece, and designed and built something to amplify and spread the effects. Clever, clever boy.

Also, Nanosec/Slow-Mo OTP! *squees and huggles them* Also, I loved the way Slow-Mo talked. Sometimes she was super-fast and zippy, sometimes she sloooooowed down, and it really fit with her powers. Plus, I loved her smoky voice. Yum!

Bumblebee was, as per usual, a dick in this episode. But yay, even Sari was getting tired of his dickishness.

Seriously. Ani Bumblebee makes G1 Slingshot look saintly. Or at least more mature. Which is just a crime, really.

Swindle's G1 appearance had so much more potential than they showed. Hopefully TF:A will make up for it. They kept him well like his G1 form, purple eyes and all. I think I prefer the G1 voice in a way, but at times even that could sound too meek for a nasty Decepticon arms dealer, so perhaps TF:A does right there too. I love his quasi-Hummer form, which is funny because this week GM decided they're pulling out of some SUV manufacturing and wants to get rid of the Hummer line too.

Slo-Mo and Nanosec should appear in many more episodes. Also Prof Penny Princess.

And Swindle is great, but him being _cut to pieces whilst alive and paralysed_ is creepy as hell.

I loved this episode so much. I want to buy ten Swindles when he finally comes out. It's just that good. =D

G1 Swindle's one on-screen attempt at that sort of thing led to him getting a bomb stuffed into his head.

Emphasis on 'on-screen,' though. The way he was greeted by the dealers he dealt with seemed to make it pretty clear that he did that stuff on a regular basis, except it was never shown.
