Randomly, but my views on the architecture of 'con personal quarters are strongly influenced by the battleship tours I've been on. Just the general way the rooms are built there, since I seem to recall most members of the crew have a barracks area where they all sleep.

But yeah, gotta have personal rooms so you can have personal washracks. 'Cause communal ones are just asking for a death-toll.
