Two Things

1) Writing sex is fiendishly difficult when you're not in the mood to participate in anything sexual, or even read about it.

2) Sex is boring to write if you don't go into the emotions involved. There's only so many different ways you can describe the act of sex, and all of the good ones have already been done.

Agreed on both counts. I've had some fun smut ideas, and even did some "artwork," but as for writing it... eh. My libido has been down the tubes for years because of the medication I'm on, but then that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Sex without emotion is just mechanical and dull. I don't want to "see" endless descriptions of bodily funcions, I want to feel what's going on in the characters' minds.

If I manage to get this one smut story written, you wanna beta it? I promise you it won't be anywhere close to a traditional smutfic. ;)
