Work Has Died!

As you can see, work is very slow right now. It doesn't help that the carhops are so bored that they're doing my job for me. If I weren't the only fountain person here today, I'd expect to be sent home.

I'm holding my breath for when the rush hits.

That being said, thought of something for my clinically depressed transformer character (make Marvin the Android jokes all you like; this was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] crowdog66). I've developed some interesting ways that he tries to control his depression and be a productive Decepticon, but I wondered why I would ever need to show off some of his more esoteric methods. For the most part, he uses programs of his own design to control himself, rather like normal people use medicines.

Well, after reading [livejournal.com profile] crowdog66's post tonight, I realized something important. The spark always overcomes programming, no matter how wonderful and excellent the programming is. Effervescence's depression will keep coming back as long as he lives, because it is intrinsic to his spark.
