31_days - All Fall Down 3/3
"Highway Star" is such a Stunticon song. As is Molly Hatchet's "Flirting with Disaster".

Characters: Motormaster, Megatron (assorted others mentioned, as well as some unattributed Constructicon dialogue)

He crashed against the far wall of the command center, only taking a partial-powered blast to the chest. With a grimace, Motormaster stood up, his damage control centers screaming at him to just lie down and die. Megatron was too tough an opponent for him alone, only Menasor could do what he wanted-!
"Have you gone insane?" Megatron demanded harshly.
Motormaster rapidly analyzed the situation, assessing threat levels to the three Seekers present and Soundwave. Starscream looked startled, but his null rays were up and aimed squarely at the Stunticon. Dirge and Thundercracker also aimed their arm-guns at him, while Soundwave had yet to make a move one way or the other.
Starscream probably wouldn't help Megatron, Soundwave might not, and the other two Seekers definitely would if Megatron let them. This would get messy.
"No," he growled as he charged forward once again. Megatron snarled and raised his fusion cannon.
The blast took Motormaster in the face. His mind flickered on and off.

"... extensive neurological damage. His memory components are intact-"

He knelt on the floor of the bridge, leaking and dented. Droplets of metal dripped down his faceplate, solidifying as they fell. None of the other Decepticons quite dared to approach him as he lashed out whenever someone got in arm's reach.
"Pathetic."
Motormaster growled as Megatron's fusion cannon tapped his shoulder. The tyrant stood behind him, slightly dented himself but victorious. The Seekers crouched amid the wreckage of the bridge, complaining over their radios about how much repair work they'd get roped into doing.
"Pay attention!" The heel of Megatron's hand smashed against his half-melted helm, sending his head reeling. The already extensive damage to his mind caused it to shut down briefly.

"... If we reinstall them in a new body, he should be fine."
"Do it."
"What if-?"
"Shut up, Breakdown."
"Get out of the way, you clowns."

Another blow to the back of the head initiated a hurried reboot. "You are failing as a Decepticon. Death is inevitable in this war; you cannot bind yourself too closely to someone who might die in the next battle."
Each word reduced his spirit to smelt. Megatron's chastisement hurt more than anything else in the universe. "I need them," he begged forgiveness.
"Then you will have them." The fusion cannon lifted from his shoulder and rested gently at the back of his head. He never even felt the final blow.
