Chess Drabble (Matrix)

Playing chess against another AI was remarkably pointless. The rules were simple and there were no hidden variables, so they could both pick out the best possible moves to play each time. A typical game eventually defaulted to playing the same moves over and over again. As repeating the same moves three times in a row resulted in an automatic defeat, some AIs created elaborate series of moves in order for the game to be interrupted before they lost.

Agent Brown found it much more challenging to design an aesthetically pleasing yet intricate chess set. He set down a queen.

Based on discussing internet chess servers, the lack of need to hack them, and AIs that play chess.
