Friday Chicken

Taking a leaf from Havi this week, because I feel like I need to.

The Hard Stuff

- Doctors' appointments on Monday. New doctor. Taking a look at the lump on my throat and determining that we need more tests to figure out what it is. Getting scheduled for an ultrasound for next Monday.

- Working at a new branch this week. On drive-up. Learning a whole new system for closing down in the afternoon. Learning how to manage a drive-up. Often being the only person on drive-up. The branch is understaffed with tellers, so there is usually no one who has my back because they're in the lobby.

Getting off yesterday afternoon is pretty hazy in my mind. Dark and weirdly shadowy like I know it couldn't possibly have been, because yesterday was this beautiful sunny almost-warm day.

Not sure if I can take working at that branch more if I don't get some back-up.

- Also, I'm sick. My dreams are weird when I'm sick, and this particular level of sickness makes me lurch into things and be extremely nauseous when I eat. I do not like life.

- I haven't had my period since January. And not late January, either. This is worrying me.

The Good Stuff

- Managed to read two chapters of When Baghdad Ruled the Muslim World: the Rise and Fall of Islam's Greatest Dynasty while waiting for various doctors' appointments to begin. Have continued with the reading.

- Reorganized the way my bookshelves and to-be read stack functions. Now I can actually find my reference books when I need them!

- I've managed a lot of writing this week, and I've gotten a few things finished, a few things almost finished, and made significant progress on DotM3.

I just reliesed, I think you have the same job as me. Teller/Cashier in a bank, right?

Yep! Float teller at the moment, though I am hoping they will give me a permanent branch in the not-too-distant future.
