Dragon*Con '10: Friday
Got out to the badge line at 8:10. Walked out with my badge somewhere around 9:30. Boots were killing me by then, so after breakfast with Mom, I returned to the hotel room to change into comfortable, sane shoes and chillax.
Then I wandered the hotels looking for Charles, because while my phone can receive calls from him, it refuses to believe in calling him. D: Did not find Charles. Found several other people I've met before and chatted with them. Yes, wandering the hotels through the major thoroughfares does work surprisingly well.

karma_aster got off her staff-stint at pre-reg, we went to lunch then retired to the Stargate track room for cookies, knitting, and exchanging stories with random passerbys. Some of the cookies were these divinely orgasmic surprise-mocha cookies. We pressed them on anyone who came by the cookie table, because omg-sogood.
Eventually Charles called me, and we acquired him. Then we went off to have adventure! Well, more hanging out but somewhere else 'cause the Stargate track staff kicked us out for being too loud. But there was adventure! And eventually retiring to my hotel room so Mom could meet Charles and Sharon and we hung out there for a while.
Then dinner and dancing. Oh Lord, I am so out of shape. Evening at Bree killed me. I managed to dance a fair number of songs but it was so much more draining this year than it's been in previous years.
Ah well. Chillaxing in hotel room now. Time to shower and sleep. Tomorrow, Azula.
Also, keeping Autumn forever. She made me "Danegeld" icons. <3
