Argh, I want to commission something pretty but all the fanartist commission-takers I can think of don't have a quick enough turn-around time for me to do it without going nuts.

What's the turn-around time you're looking for?

A week or two. *has been having a terrible time with artists going AWOL or taking months to do art*

If I've got a genuine deadline, I tend to not dither around so much. May I inquire as to what you're wanting?

I am torn between some Assimilation-based Mai'n'Sokka (or Mai/Sokka. Mai/Sokka is pretty) and Ozai dying in Iroh's arms (not of Iroh killing him). Or Urzai! I love Urzai, and there is not enough. Found this amazing piece of Urzai (http://senbo-sama.deviantart.com/art/Descry-Cover-174685349) today, unf. (There is also not enough of any of my favorite girlpairings: Katoph, Maitara, Azutara...) And it's not like anyone does Hakozai.

All sound equally nifty- pick one and pitch it to me?

*ponders* I have had a mental image in my head for a while now of Assimilation!Mai and Sokka sitting on the floor, hugging each other, their legs curled to either side. They're both looking towards the viewer with pretty much the exact same blank-mask expression. They're alone in the dark together, but they are together and they will survive.

*is trying to think of a better way to explain the pose* I am sure this is a take-off on something I saw somewhere, but I cannot for the life of me remember what.

Question- what age-range are you looking for in this moment? Are they little, older, pre- or post- reunion with Katara?

Just pre-reunion with Katara, I think.

Just for the record, if you're still craving pretties, I am still experimenting in Photoshop (re: comics) but lacking projects to experiment with. I could definitely get something done inside that week or two turn-around.

I always crave pretties. *ponders* I crave Katoph. With an adult Toph who isn't this willowy tall woman who looks nothing at all like the Toph from the series. I want short, stocky Toph, dangit.

I don't know, but it's something I keep seeing. It confuses and annoys me as much as the people who color Katara super-pale.

Maybe something family-like? Katara sewing, maybe, and Toph with her head in Katara's lap and kind of being annoying? But Katara is fond of her and it and dealing like she gets this all the time?
