The first round of the exchange is done, but a second round will be accepting sign-ups later this month. I really encourage people to check it out - we had some great stuff written for this exchange with some unusual pairings.

- Complications by mint_amaretto: He kisses her back at the end of a date that's half disaster, half an exercise in absurdity. Zuko/Jin.

This story genuinely builds a relationship between them, tense and lovely with the secrets Lee has and the happiness Jin wants. There's some really cute scenes in here - I love the erotic poetry bit, and the sex scene and its aftermath are just perfect for everything that has come before.

- Untitled by lavanyasix: Longshot sees everything and everyone, and he accepts them. Longshot and Jet.

This isn't really a pairing-fic (something we had a bit of a problem with in the challenge). However, it is a good exploration of both Jet and Longshot's characters shortly after the events of "Jet" while the Freedom Fighters are still in the woods and the Fire Nation knows they have to be there somewhere.

(Also, you can get away with not titling things for a fic-exchange? Really?)

- Inseperable by spyridona: Growing up, they were always together. Roku/Sozin.

A nice look at the two of them growing up together, and how much Roku means to Sozin.

- If Not Time by ourladyofworms: On a quest for knowledge, Kuei finds his way into Won Shi Tong's library. Zei/Kuei.

This is sweet, and it builds the relationship between them nicely. I like the way the author deals with Kuei's travels and abandoning of his throne, as well as how he ends up with Zei.

- New Favorite Thing by suzukiblu: Aang thinks this must be his most embarrassing new favorite thing EVER. Aang/Zuko.

Aang realizes that Zuko is SHIRTLESS. Aang is terribly distracted by this. Very well-written and full of delicious awkward Aang.

- Business Trip by dark_puck: During a business trip to the Fire Nation, Teo runs into Firelord Zuko. Teo/Zuko.

Adorably fluffy with an ending that promises some extreme smuttery after the curtain closes on the scene.

- Foresight by loopy777: Having helped win the War, Bumi takes time out of his leisurely trip home to get his fortune told. Bumi and Aunt Wu.

Again, not a pairing-fic. However, it's really well-written, and Loopy has one of the better Bumi voices I've ever read.

- Parched by neldluva: While engaging on his campaign to conquer the Earth Kingdom, Fire Lord Azulon takes a brief detour to ... enjoy the scenery. Azulon/Kanna.

Honestly, this may be my favorite piece for the entire exchange. Azulon finds Kanna on her way south. He is intrigued by her feistiness, she is intrigued by his sexy Fire Nation-ness. There's a really nice, quick build-up - this isn't a romance, it's a lust-story and it works so well.

- Steam by moonys_autumn: After capturing the escaped ex-Firelord, Hakoda's head is full of steam. Hakoda/Ozai.

I really enjoy Hakoda/Ozai with lots of tension, both sexual and otherwise, and can never quite seem to write them myself. This was delicious.

- Of Earth by spyridona: She can tolerate him; she might even like him. Jet/Toph.

A good piece from Toph's point-of-view during season three of a "Jet survives" AU. She deals with Jet a lot better than the rest of the Gaang does.

- Hello Again by arathe: By chance or choice, Zuko and Teo keep crossing paths. Zuko/Teo.

A cute story that shows Zuko and Teo learning about each other at the Western Air Temple while flashing back to the first time they met while Zuko was searching for the Avatar.

Keep in mind, I didn't read everything so there's undoubtedly plenty of other good stuff available. <3

On the title, I genuinely couldn't think of one I liked for it. I figured 'Untitled' was better than something hokey. When I later archived it on The Pit, I just called it 'Longshot and Jet' in lieu anything memorable.
