Music Meme
Gacked from
sapphire_breeze. Cut and paste the card order, turn on your MP3 player or other music player, and set it on random. No skipping. Each song that comes up is, effectively, a 'card'. Write them down in order.
I used a different card-order than she does, just because this one is more familiar to me.
Card 1 - Influences, atmosphere
Let's Go by The Cars - A man who I wrap around my finger. Hmmm....
Card 2 - Obstacles
Two Funerals from the BSG soundtrack - Eerie sadness. Mourning.
Card 3 - Highest state the querent can achieve in the matter; what the querent wishes to achieve
Wish Lizst (Toy Shop Madness) by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Awesome Christmas music that is rather like the soundtrack to a Tim Burton movie that hasn't been written yet. Hell, yeah. Energy, a beat, high-key.
Card 4 - It represents foundations or possessions of the querent. Events that have already passed
Remember also by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Memories of snow? Well, not very good memories of snow, seeing as I'm a Southern girl.
Card 5 - Past
Prime Mover by Rush - ... Yes, I was born and have lived up to now. Alternatively, I have had an existential crisis somewhere in the past.
Card 6 - Future Influences
Christmas Nights in Blue by Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Really awesome Christmas music in a bar in New York City, apparently. And snow again.
Card 7 - Attitude or position in the matter
Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit by Jimmy Buffet - Very, very laidback. Lonely. And enjoying grapefruit juice.
Card 8 - House, Environment
Radio Friendly Unit Shifter by Nirvana - I have no idea. It's Nirvana.
Card 9 - Hopes or Fears
Memoria from the Music from the X-Files - Seekers after truth and those would thwart them.
Card 10 - Future Events
For the Sake of Our Brother by Trans-Siberiaon Orchestra. I only have one album by these guys! - Christmas. The saving of the world. The birth of the savior.
