Bits and pieces
Fan Dancer - New render up on DevArt.
And I got tagged by
wrongly_amused on a meme.
Post a list of your top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
I'm not going to be broken up if my be-tagged folks don't do this.
Hot Pursuit [Transformers: Prowl/Drag Strip, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Jazz] - I threw this together for the "Get Prowl Laid" challenge at Mecha_E, which hadn't interested me as a challenge until I threw in the Stunticon, and mostly wrote it for the UST and denial on Prowl's part.
Sword of Wrath [The Matrix: Agent Smith] - One of the few fics where I think I've actually gotten inside Smith's head. The flow could use a little tweaking, but eh. Like a lot of my Matrix fics, chockful of symbolism.
Second Blooming [Jackie Chan Adventures: Valmont] - My take on a post-series Valmont and his life, and the ending I gave it just makes me glee. Understatement is a lot of fun to play with.
Et in Cybertron Ego [Transformers: Dirge/Thrust] - Dirge and Thrust are surpisingly dark-cute. ^__^
Spindle Drop [Pirates of the Carribean 2: Tia Dalma, Will Turner, Jack Sparrow] - I wrote this while still somewhat groggy from sleeping the entire afternoon, so it's even weirder than my normal stuff. Draws on a lot of my thoughts about Will Turner, though, and I think I handled it well.
Why did I almost write 'Will Sparrow' under the character list there?

2 - Stormhangar. This fic got me through two horrible years at work and it's a great big fucking "YES I CAN" to the world. I'm fond of it. I should really finish revising it.
3 - Waiting for Ravage. It may barely qualify as a fic, but I'm still fond of it. I've carried that mental image in my head for what feels like five years.
4 - Terminus. First fic I wrote where I ever really did something interesting with language.
5 - Burning Love. Because it is so fucking silly.
