It is time to balance my meme karma, since I've been abusing both

banditjoeykuba's awesomeness lately.

So I will be writing anything Avatar, Transformers: Deadzone, or Transformers: Animated in the comments. Including any AU I've babbled at you about. Or any AU you can think of. Or anything involving my OCs. (I will only write other people's OCs with their permission, so you'll have to get their permission first and have them communicate it to me.)

Restrictions:
- Three requests per person, unless I tell you you can ask for more
- If you ask for "So-and-so is awesome", I am putting my iPod on shuffle and writing to whatever song comes up first

Well, Ozai has pretty good proof that he can't handle actually raising kids, and Ursa sucks at it too. And I think they do both love at least one of their kids enough not to want the third one to be fucked up.

Crack is ever so much fun. ^__^

Yeah, like I said, the timing doesn't work for Hakoda to be Pakku's. I do it only when I'm going "screw it" about other timing things. (So, like, never.)

Six years of no wife and living like a monk as Firelord. I tend to throw in at least five years of searching for the Avatar and writing letters every day to Ursa. Plus, my mental-Ozai is insanely faithful to Ursa. He loves her scarily much. (However, my FN tends to view it as 'not cheating' or at least not cheating as badly if you're sleeping with someone of your own gender.)

I worry about what Bato would be willing to do if Ozai got his hooks very deep into Hakoda.

My Ursa's offended, but she wasn't great. Ditching one kid for the other wasn't a smooth move. Life would have been easier if she stabbed Ozai, but I don't think she had the courage/desire to do it. If Ozai was dead, Azulon would have been "GOOD RIDDANCE" and left Ursa and the kids alone.

I need it now, so much. ;__;

I'm so... adherding to that timeline that I can't play with it too much. Unless making strange, strange crackverses. *Like the fall of Ba Sing Se and everyone magically ending up where they're supposed to be and the age they are in the story and having people live and somehow live to 312. *Eyes Bumi.*

Five years? I always give him a few years, like three or two. A bit before marriage.

The scarily much part is creepy, I always see Ursa... 'charmed' Stockholm syndrome. Getting away from Ozai was great for her head space (she really should have brought Azula with her). He can play with all the boys and girls he wants, and leave her alone. She's got a boytoy king and bounty hunter who gives her booty calls. (Though I do adore Hakursa, it's hard to fit in my head canon, so that's side fluff and shared fluff). Life is okay in the sex department, really. You can go and leave her alone, Ozai.

... Bato isn't quite JEALOUS, well, he is. But Ozai is DANGEROUS. Bato would do scary things to protect Hakoda from Ozai. If it was anyone else, he'd be an honorable man and leave things be. But not for Ozai.

Really, Ursa should have taken both the kids with her when she ran. Leaving them with Ozai was criminal negligence.

*scritches and urges Spyri to have fun with her writing*

Pux can tell you minor anecdotes about me relentlessly questioning her about timing issues while I write Avatar fics. Because the whole thing takes place in less than a year, so if you're writing during the series, you have to be pretty precise with how things go and when they fit in.

I do it five years, right after the marriage.

I love my Ozai, but I won't pretend he doesn't have issues. He loves Ursa very, very much. A lot more than she loves him. (And she does love him.) Post-series... Sometimes they have to work together to save the grandkids, and there is at least one AU of mine where Ursa is the one who comforts him after he almost breaks himself, but Ozai broke their marriage well before the series started.

Of course, would Ozai had let her go taking them both? I like to think he followed her like a hawk. Maybe she hoped Iroh or the kids would help each other. Really, the best choice was to stab Ozai or send both kids away and she stay behind to face the music.

Yeah, I avoid the series most of the time and then stamp a big AU when very little is changed if I write it in series time. Because timeline doesn't make sense in series. Sokka's space sword was made too damn quickly. Sokka whining about how long it would take. And then going back to Ba Sing Se in two days? WUT.

I think Ozai and Ursa would have been much happier if they hadn't had kids. Their union just spelled out disaster for their children. Ozai's NOT a good or nice person, and Ursa just had too many issues and resources and bad judgments despite being a kind person. *Pets Ursa/Ozai AUness.* I do like seeing them happy, but it's near impossible without... altering their characterization, big time.

Bato needs more love, and needs to stop being stubborn about my head about being OPEN to more love. >_>
