Ask Me To Write You Stuff!

It is time to balance my meme karma, since I've been abusing both [livejournal.com profile] suzukiblu and [livejournal.com profile] banditjoeykuba's awesomeness lately.

So I will be writing anything Avatar, Transformers: Deadzone, or Transformers: Animated in the comments. Including any AU I've babbled at you about. Or any AU you can think of. Or anything involving my OCs. (I will only write other people's OCs with their permission, so you'll have to get their permission first and have them communicate it to me.)

Restrictions:
- Three requests per person, unless I tell you you can ask for more
- If you ask for "So-and-so is awesome", I am putting my iPod on shuffle and writing to whatever song comes up first

Meme is closed.

The drums pound, and young women who might as well be girls whirl around a fountain. Their clothes are light, lighter than many have ever worn them, but this is the Earth Kingdom, not either of the poles. Their dancing flashes bare ankles and throats at men and boys.

All except for one. Katara wears a bridal necklace still. His necklace, technically, but Pakku has no interest in laying claim. He has the woman he wants, has always wanted.

Sokka's Earth Kingdom girl dances, too, her arms mostly bare. It's quite a shock of skin to some of the Northern men, but Sokka is on her heels and at her side.

Pakku snorts. His grandson impresses Piandao and Iroh both, and Bumi certainly seems to like him almost as much as he likes Aang. Jeong Jeong is apathetic towards the boy, which is high compliment from the old bastard.

He's a good boy. A grandson any grandfather would be proud to have.

Which, Pakku thinks, is part of the problem, when it comes down to it. Sokka is not his grandson.

Katara is not his granddaughter.

"Come and dance, master!" She cries all of a sudden, exploding out from the frenzy of dancers. Her eyes are bright, and the moon blesses her with light to make her beauty shine. (The moon withholds that same light from Suki, Pakku has noticed. It's amusing.)

Katara holds out her hands to him, an enchanting smile on her face. "Or are you too old for this rite?"

He snorts and stands, stretches like water testing the banks of a river during a storm. "Keep up with me, girl, and you might catch yourself a husband despite your necklace."

Lovely, thanks.

I love the line where Pakku analysis JJ reaction to Sokka.
