OC Meme!
Because these things always have a lower turnout, and I really, really want to write some of my OCs right now.
Rules
- Three slots per person, five slots if you're one of my people1
- Prompts must include fandom and what side you want me to write an OC from, assuming sides are relevant to the fandom. (Autobot/Decepticon/neutral, Earth/Water/Fire/Air, Machine/rebel/Exile)
- Prompt me with whatever you feel like prompting. Lyrics, phrases, songs, situations, whatever. If it doesn't work for me, I'll just stick my mp3-player on random and drabble to that.
- I guarantee I will write you at least one piece.
- You can use two slots to request specific OCs of mine if you really, really want to. But I'd appreciate free rein on who to write, because there's a lot of my OCs that have never made it to stories.
- You may have a bonus slot in which to request that I write one of your OCs. However, you must provide me with history/appearance/personality. (OCs I am already familiar with can skip providing that sort of stuff.) ETA: A bonus slot is an extra slot that doesn't count towards your overall slottage.
1. 'My people' are defined as: anyone who has known me since ReBoot or The Matrix fandom, Deadzone players, Pepper, Dageraisy, Rin, Neld, and Spyri
MEME IS CLOSED.

Matrix, Exiles learn how Seraph got the epithet "Wingless"
The Queen of the Unseelie Court bears scars from her deal. She, like her husband, like all of her people, were deleted long ago. They hovered in the spaces between the Matrix and dissolution, in a holding pattern that should have been dumped.
It glitched. It was one of countless such holding patterns, and it never dissolved properly to destroy what it contained.
The Matrix often had glitches, and this one did not affect the way the System functioned. Nothing inside Sheol could get out (except a few times, but the self-appointed Guardians of the Gate never let them get far enough to be noticed).
The program who controlled it made it into Sheol, a taste of the torments of hell, and all who fell into its clutches were damaged.
The Unseelie Queen is Sidhe, one of the long-Exiled programs of the First Iteration, but she is no subject of Titania and Oberon. Now, though, she sits on a balcony in Paris, tilts her empty eye-sockets up to the simulated sun.
Her husband lounges with her. Herne the Hunter, and no one is sure if he is a stag-anthro with elven features or an elf with features of a stag. He dwelt in Sheol longer than any, and there are no other programs like him in all the System.
Seraph steps onto the balcony from their room. "Greetings. Shepherd would like to speak to you two."
The Queen tilts her face towards him, blinks at what she perceives in code. "They cut off your wings."
"The gate was closing," he says, smiling. "It was a choice well made."
Re: Matrix, Exiles learn how Seraph got the epithet "Wingless"
So... the Unseelie court was deleted, but the garbage collection process was unable to completely remove their runtime executables from physical storage? Was it like a bad segment or disk error in one of the Machine mainframes that prevented them from writing to where their data was stored?
Re: Matrix, Exiles learn how Seraph got the epithet "Wingless"
About the only real answer I have to that is "the Sheol campaign was really kriffing cool". We kind of hand-waved what exactly the glitch was that made the program that was supposed to dump it not dump it.

AtLA: Dai Li, "Why don't they understand it's for their own protection?"
Liu blinked at the mindbender, then glanced over at where Xin Wan was happily ensconced with a box of kittens. The Chief Mindbender was babbling softly, mostly to the effect of "kitty!" and playing with the tiny, excitable bundles of fur.
'But he likes cats,' Liu sketched in the floor.
"He was teaching when you came in with them." Bae folded his arms and glared.
Liu met the glare evenly. He did not point out that Xin Wan's teaching had reached the point where he would crack open Niran's mind with his mindbending, or that the other mindbenders wouldn't have realized what Xin Wan was doing when he rewrote the young agent. No one would have realized anything until Xin Wan said the Words.
Hyo-sir would have killed Xin Wan for mindbending another Dai Li agent. Who knew what Xin Wan would have done with Niran?
Kittens made the entire situation much better.

The lives you save.
Clever, clever Liu. *cuddles Niran* poor kid.
AtLA: Fire Nation, "Hearts on Fire"
Behind him, his soldiers kept in rank. They were relaxed, talking and joking. The colony was deep in Fire Nation territory, the people friendly, and their general was in a good mood.
This dawn, a ship from the Fire Nation had come to the colony, and a hawk had been sent to Torao. He had set out as soon as he could get enough soldiers together, pushing hard to make the port before nightfall. There wasn't much time before the big push against Omashu, and he wanted to see Lady Ran before then.
He reined his komodo-rhino up on the docks, and the sailors of the ship leaped to attention.
Torao did not have to wait long for his wife to walk down the ramp. She was as beautiful as when he had first laid on eyes her, though age had touched her. Lightly - she was a woman and mother now, not the girl and maiden who had come to him.
She smiled, and he dismounted from his rhino.
"Ran," he murmured as he swept her into his arms.
"Torao," she husked before kissing him.
Re: AtLA: Fire Nation, "Hearts on Fire"
Only problem is that I don't know these OCs. Where can I read of them more?
Re: AtLA: Fire Nation, "Hearts on Fire"
He appears as a teenager in Broken Promises (http://beckyh2112.livejournal.com/355233.html). Lady Ran appears as a teenager in Girl Talk (http://beckyh2112.livejournal.com/428118.html). There's a snippet of Torao as an adult over here (http://beckyh2112.livejournal.com/334675.html?thread=2035283#t2035283) and a snippet of him after the War over here (http://beckyh2112.livejournal.com/430391.html?thread=5276727#t5276727).
