- You may have a bonus slot in which to request that I write one of your OCs. However, you must provide me with history/appearance/personality. (OCs I am already familiar with can skip providing that sort of stuff.) ETA: A bonus slot is an extra slot that doesn't count towards your overall slottage.

Nightbeat leaned against the table. "Look, Smokescreen says I've got an affliction - don't snigger. It's called 'being straight'. Only affects a tiny percent of Autobots. But I go to Junk, and the ditzy dame of a cop calls all of Cybertron weird for thinking that's an affliction. Seems over there, they're pretty much all 'straight'."

"That makes sense," Skids said. He wasn't quite sure what Nightbeat was doing over here or what the detective had been doing on Junk. Knowing Nightbeat, of course, it was virtually incomprehensible to anyone else. "They pattern their society based on Terran television programs, so they've likely absorbed the same sexual values as are commonly depicted there. I suspect as time goes along, they'll become more open to homosexual relationships."

Nightbeat made a dismissive motion with his hand. "You ain't lived until a Junk skirt who talks in subtitles tells you that you and Red Alert would make cute babies. Why the frak did they latch onto Earth tee-vee, anyway?"

Skids tried to hide the wince and knew he failed when Nightbeat's ear-guns tilted back slightly. "Well... There are a lot of theories..."

"Lay a coupla them on me."

Someone needed Nightbeat right now, right? Please? Because there weren't any theories about Junk. There was hardly anything in academic papers about Junk. "I haven't really kept up with them," Skids hedged.

Nightbeat leaned across the table. "You know what I think? I think you're lying, doc. There's papers out every day about Earth and Nebulos. But, you know, I ain't ever seen anything about Junk."

Skids glanced away. "It hasn't been a topic of interest to scientists."

"... They're a bunch of scrapyard barbarian Transformers! How the leaking Pit are they not a topic of interest! You even know how they're related to us?"

Skids spread his hands. "I know they look like us, Nightbeat, but they're not Transformers. We know that much. Wreck-Gar and Pee-Dee both submitted to some examinations while they were here, but while our doctors see a lot of similarity in designs, there's also a lot of differences. Heck, there are a lot of differences just between the two of them. They're, well, aliens."

Nightbeat shook his head. "The dame's a Transformer. She's just from another planet."
