Just one question, please, but it can (and perhaps should) have sub-parts.

Question can be as wacky as you want. Ask me about tv shows, characters, fanfic in general, fandom issues/meta, anything about any of my stories specifically. Whatever you want.

It is helpful to ask about fandoms I know about. If you don't, I will be forced to make things up. Which may be entertaining. And involve tentacle-sex.

Indeed. I've found one fic that mentions him- and it's about Tony getting sent the bird afterwards. It's cute, but it's not tasty smut.

Clearly this must be rectified, if only I could get some brain-juice flowing. I keep wondering if Eastern Promises might not be a good film to watch for same.

It's a movie involving the Russian mafia, essentially- which is supposed to be where Ivan got his ink in prison. It's got Viggo Mortensen in it- I haven't seen it, I've read the TV Tropes article, it sounds interesting. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EasternPromises

Love the movie, but when it comes to fic notions, it's all 'data data data, I cannot make bricks without clay!' in my head.

A lot of different things- mostly, where and what does Ivan come from, where can he go from here if given a Houdini card, where and what could be interesting to explore from his past? I will admit my great ignorance of Russian culture, tradition and modern history, beyond the filtration of what trickles into the media I see. I love Ivan as presented- but there's got to be more there to hang a fic on, it seems to me.
