Quick Meme: Anger
I am furious due to various and diverse circumstances. I want to write to get that out of my head.
Post one word, and I will write whatever the hell I feel like.
CLOSED.

Conquest
From the vantage point of the volcano, he could see nearly the entire island. It was small, almost inconsequential. Yet it belonged to the Fire Nation, and he knew how fiercely they prided themselves on their military might.
They would answer his challenge.
He gazed on the Fire Nation town below. The water of the bay sparkled in the sunlight, though the black haze of smoke detracted from its natural beauty. There would be no ships rushing word to Firelord Zuko of his assault.
Soon, there would not be a town.
"Flatten it," he ordered, and his female pet stepped forward. Silver collar glinted in the light as she raised her arms; the ocean responded, leaping from its bed.
It smashed across the island below, destroying the town, flattening the forest. He smiled, and his pets smiled back at him. They were handsome members of their people, he noted, moreso now that they dressed in civilized clothes and jewelry.
He turned his head towards his soldiers, and the horrified Firefolk. "General. Sow the salt and lye."
A low moan went through the Firefolk as his general sent word back to their ships. Prince Rudra smiled, then raised his face up towards the sky. Absently, he rubbed the patterned burn scar along his arm, remembering a bronze-eyed Fire soldier from long ago.
On the unspoken signal, every soldier cut the throat of their prisoner.

Blaze
Then he pushes it away from his skin, pushes it out in an aura to envelope him. He feeds and feeds and feeds it until it begins to slip his control.
So many years of fearing and loathing the violence of fire did more than make him miserable, he realizes. It also taught him still greater control.
He holds a forest fire in his power, and he laughs.

Memory
That was not to say he did not remember Heaven. He remembered it, remembered the cool streams of running water that thwarted him at nearly every turn. He remembered the feel of heavenly stone against his pure jade, how they had rung true together as he built little bridges of stepping stones.
He remembered the hearth and the goddess there, and the feel of her face under his hands as he whispered the possibilities of turning aside, of the power to be gained when all had hearths and needed her to protect them.
He remembered the way fire had burned when he seized it, the way it had transformed him from pure jade to jade-flesh, from green to black.
Too, he remembered how the endless strife that had come from giving humans fire.
It made him smile.

Unguent
That's what the Fire woman says, with such conviction that Song almost believes her.
But Song's mama taught her better than that.
Mama taught her herbs and simples, remedies and sewing. Mama taught her the difference between poison and medicine was oftentimes just the difference of a spoonful.
So Song slathers the Fire woman's wound with the white jade salve.

Shatter
Then there was Motormaster. He was just happy grinding your windshield to dust under his tires.

Dominate
Iroh smiles down at his quivering brother. Not with fear does his brother tremble, he knows, but with fury.
The glint of madness that has been in Iroh's eyes since the death of his son is full blaze in his brother's.
At least Roku's whore is dead.
Iroh hasn't bothered to tell his brother that yet; it will just make the fool fight when he should submit.

Law
Blasterfire erupted from the other side of the barricade, and Kup grabbed Pee-Dee by the wrist and yanked her out of too-much harm's way. He wound up snapping her hand off by doing so, but the Junkion just reattached it.
Frantically, he wracked his memory banks for the right teevee quote to tell her to never do that again. Ah, that'd work. "You do that again, I'll shoot you myself!"

Odious
Dorje felt himself turning green. He hastily stood up and hobbled away from the Protectorate soldier. There wasn't far he could go on his bad leg, Nahr-ee reminded him, but it wasn't bothered by Latta grabbing some calories before their assault on the main camp.
He wanted to puke, though.
Sure, Latta wasn't human, but she looked enough like it that it turned his stomach to see her eating dead humans.

Imagined
***
Lanh pulls a sword out of Chatri's chest- there is a hole there. Not a hole like he's been stabbed, but a hole like there was never flesh or bone or blood.
***
The boy from Guoyin slices Lanh's cheek open with a good thrust.
***
When it's all over, Lanh gently pushes the sword back into Chatri, holding his breath because he is sure he must be hurting his fellow Dai Li trainee.
***
In the morning, Lanh sat up in bed, then rolled his eyes as he recalled some of the night before. "... That wasn't a homoerotic dream at all."
He stood and relieved himself, then washed in the washbasin. There was stubble on his chin, and he went hunting for a mirror to guide his razor.
There was a cut on his cheek.

Foam
Not all tales are true.
Hahn climbs up the knotted rope Krisuk let over the side of the Inner Wall, bearing a brace of birds. The moon shines, catching on his shadow-spun hair, and he says thanks to Yue for staying bright enough for him to see when he hunted in the Agrarian Zone.
The guards on the wall look uncomfortable to see him, but they always did. Something about being crazy. Fuckers.
