- Pakku and Yugoda had a daughter out of wedlock. She was acknowledged as a spirit's child and married a respected hunter. Almost all of her children have been powerful waterbenders, except for Hahn.
- Bumi is one of the few people who can make Pakku laugh.
- Pakku loathes Iroh. He respects Jeong Jeong for making the choice he did, he's mildly fond of Piandao, but he considers Iroh as only having stopped fighting because of his son's death and never having realized he was wrong to fight and conquer for the Fire Nation in the first place.
A few weeks ago, and "wouldn't it be cool if...?". Admittedly, Pakku and Yugoda's affair has been in my head for a while, as has her passing the child off as a spirit's. (Oh, Virgin: the Untouched History, you were such an awesomely useful book.)
Also Hahn calling Yugoda "Gramma" pleases me. ^_^
Not that it will ever come up in stories, since while Yugoda and Pakku know, Hahn's mama probably doesn't, and the grandkids certainly don't.
