Okay, just finished up my English midterm. Fun times. My hand's twitching from all the writing; I dislike tests with lots of essay questions and not enough time to properly cohere your thoughts and get everything on paper. Also, there was only one question about Poe and that made me sad. I like writing about Poe - his heroes are much more sturdy than Lovecraft's. I'm quite certain a Lovecraftian hero would have fainted at the end of "The Fall of the House of Usher".

I've got a Biology test tomorrow, which I'll be studying for tonight, then I'll collapse and die Tuesday night. Wednesday, it's time to begin looking at the Paper 2 topics for English class, as well as reading the second book for my History class. Actually, I'll probably save the book for this weekend and curl up with it Saturday morning. Our History professor refuses to assign books longer than 300 pages, because he knows they're not going to get read if he does that.

Added the Feministe RSS feed to my flist, and it's been very, very interesting so far. Apparently the key to politicizing me is to talk to me about problems that directly effect me, then move onto things that less directly effect me but are just as important.

What can I say? It's hard to go from a girl who doesn't care about anything outside of her nest to a woman who wants to have a good life for herself built on her own labors.
