For anyone who missed it, springkink is accepting claims now.

springkink has a prompt submission post up for the upcoming summer round. Go ahead and toss your own prompts into the ring - if they interest someone, you stand a decent chance of getting them written.

I will only be picking up three prompts at the most this round, and that's only if they really speak to me. I've been disappointed with the way I haven't been filling my claimed prompts in the last few rounds, so I am going to limit myself to pieces I know I will complete.

(Also, also, also. If someone claims and fills my Ozai/Song prompt, I will love you forever.)

I'm not actually home yet, just stealing the computer while everyone else watches a football game.

I think I'm burning out on Transformers smuttery. It's getting harder for me to be really interested in doing much beyond a bit of kissing/teasing then fade to black. I can get away with that for springkink, but there's a Tracks/Sunstreaker fic I owe that's hanging fire because I can't tackle the smut scene. (Then there's the Blitzwing/Catechism one that's all smut, and I just wind up staring at the file blankly whenever I open it.)

Looks like both of my upcoming Silverbolt springkink fics will be late, and I'd appreciate a beta-reader for both of them. One is Motormaster/Silverbolt, one is Silverbolt/Optimus Prime. The MotoBolt one is smutty, and I haven't finished the Bolt/Prime one enough to say if it's smutty also. MotoBolt needs to be checked for sanity (does what is happening make sense? am I blind to how not-sexy/gross/kumquat it is? do I really need all of these scenes?) and characterization (should Silverbolt be behaving that way? should Motormaster?). The Bolt/Prime will probably need the same thing, but again, need to finish it.

I'm going to need a beta-reader or two for the Tracks/Sunstreaker one, as well, but I'll post more details about that when it's actually finished. Charles, I'm probably going to grab you for this just to check on the battle scene.

Kep, I need to drag you aside to talk Age of Apocalypse Sabretooth and Wild Child when I get back to decent internet speeds.

Also, any volunteers to hit me if I try to take a prompt for the next springkink round? I really need to just stop for a round or two and concentrate on my own writing instead of stressing myself about both neglecting my own writing for springkink and not getting the springkink stories done on time.

So, no springkink for me next round unless there is a prompt that seems to be custom-tailored for my kinks and proclivities.

Speaking of claimed springkink prompts, I've decided to try something different this time around. Since I've got two months before I need to post any of them, I am going to try to write them in those two months. Gasp and shock, I know.

It might actually allow me to not be late on any of my prompts this time around!

Also, my God, claiming frenzy from the Transformers fandom. I am so glad I like to write sufficiently weird things that I was either the first or second claimer on all the prompts I really wanted to write. But I definitely won't be doing any of my secondary prompts - they are so claimed already.

Which is actually kind of all right with me, since it means I won't add more writing onto my to-do list.
