Thor actually takes it slightly better than in the movie because he has Loki with him but poor Loki is just P.O. at being demoted to a mere mortal.
They fight about fitting in, getting back home, and Loki's suspicion that he might be a Frost Giant.
Your choice whether sex/romance between them occurs as they actually bond and grow closer together on this trip.
