So I started reading this amazingly OOC Elita porn fic this morning. Sadly, it held my attention through the loving detail on how she had been tortured and broken. Well, 'held my attention' in so far as I didn't outright close it, though I did wander off from it quite a lot.

Then someone uttered a question in dialogue without using a question mark, and I went "gah!" and closed it.

I am such a grammar-geek.

There is probably something interesting that can be said about why we're reacting to this differently than to a rape fantasy. I think it might have to do with how much the author seems to enjoy going into Elita's degradation.

Exactly. The focus isn't on the act, it's on how much she's suffering and surrendering--a huge emphasis on her making a slave of herself.

Some people are into that, but I personally find it much sexier when there's actual willingness on the part of the 'slave'.

And yeah, same here, or coercion of a more psychological nature (see: half the Prime/Megatron fics out there). This stuff is gratuitous torture porn.

She starts to enjoy it in chapter four. Apparently, Long Haul is good for the lady's arousal. Must be the truckishness.

It's OOC gratuitous torture porn at that. I could do a find and replace on Elita and replace it with Mildrid, and the fic wouldn't suffer in the slightest.

I'm not surprised, rather sadly. Ties in to the idea that a woman (a powerful one, no less) eventually enjoys that treatment.

Based on the way the fic is going, we've got at least three more chapters. One for each of the Constructicons that haven't gone yet.

I swear, all she has to do is turn on that time-stop power of hers and leave it on until her lasercore extinguishes.

In all fairness, they'd have disabled that and any other weapon systems before they got down to business. But then again, she could have used the power then and things wouldn't even have gotten to the gangrape point.

...why did Elita have that power again, anyway?

Because Alpha Trion wanted an excuse to muck around in her insides and make Optimus have to repair her.

God only knows, but I tend to lay it at Alpha Trion's feet.
