Unicronian AU Fragment
Nov. 30th, 2005 02:19 pmYou guys could probably do with a little background on this whole AU. It's complicated and the root points are probably inaccurate, as I haven't seen Seasons Three or Four of G1 Transformers yet.
The Season Three Decepticon forces are scattered in space, the Autobots have Cybertron, and Optimus Prime is staying dead because the man deserves to rest in peace. Time passes. Some people go up into Unicron's head for scavenging or what-have-you. They find Sideways (a G1 oc, no relation to the Armada/Energon/Cybertron versions) wired into the planet-devourer's systems and make the not-very-bright decision to wake him up.
Sideways examines the situation, then sets about making repairs on Unicron's head. He completes enough to have an activatable warp-gate, then descends to Cybertron and abducts Rodimus Prime. He brings the Prime back up to Unicron, shoves him into the Chamber of Reformatting, and then tries to survive the Autobots attacking until the reformat finishes. When Black Rodimus Prime emerges, he and Sideways beat most of the Autobots off, then Sideways activates the warp.
They wind up in orbit around a planet that has the dusty, ragged Stunticons on it. Sideways, Black Rodimus Prime (who needs a less cumbersome name), and possibly some expendable minions kick the Autobots out of Unicron's head and onto the planet. The 'bots manage to enlist the Stuntis (Primus alone knows how), they go back up there, huge honkin' battle, and Motormaster gets the Matrix via sticking his sword in Black Rodimus Prime's chest.
Stuff happens, we somehow get Motormaster Prime and everyone else back to Cybertron. Somewhere along the way we pick up the Combaticons, and everyone generally agrees to work together to smash the Unicronians. Motormaster Prime gets Ultra Magnus and Onslaught attempting to pound him into shape as a Prime.
Although, there is the problem of the Unicronians acquiring an Air Marshal during the first big fight. Jetstorm is something of a nasty customer, too. And Black Hot Rodimus (or possibly Sideways) has decided that instead of confronting the Autobots, they should continue on with Unicron's planet-devouring tendencies and exterminate the galaxy. So, they've got a war of extinction agenda going on and the Autobots have to track them down.
Anyways, it sucks to be an Autobot right now.
It really sucks to be Motormaster right now, since Sideways decided to psychologically attack Motormaster by capturing and reformatting the other Stunticons as Unicronians. More on them when they actually show up in a drabble, though. This one's about Jetstorm.
