Elaboration on yesterday's entry: A couple of weeks ago, my laptop had a meltdown. So I borrowed Dad's for a while. This weekend, my laptop was deemed 'fixed', and I got to have it back.

And on Monday, it started doing the same damn crap that had been symptoms of its meltdown. Tuesday, I tried to transfer data from it to dad's laptop again. That took several hours of coaxing and frustration.

So I'm back on Dad's laptop and my laptop is out of commission.

To top it off, for part of yesterday, my e-mail decided I didn't exist and refused to let me at my e-mail. Glargh.
