Mar. 28th, 2010 12:13 pmWhenever I see someone saying AtLA fandom needs to be revived, I want to say "you're going to eat those words after the live-action movie comes out".
It also automatically turns me off of participating in anything with that label. Mostly because it strikes me as "you don't really pay attention to the fandom, do you?". I regularly post fics. Pux posts fics. Spyri posts fics. "Guide Me Home" updates several times a month. "Another Brother" is still going strong. Rin does writing memes all the time.
othellia has an icon post every Friday. Whenever there's a new trailer for the live-action movie, there's a lot of wank discussion on the comm. There's
racebending. Ali Wildgoose has some sort of Jetko AU going on. There's several active and high-traffic Avatar groups on dA. This is just the random stuff I can think of off the top of my head.
For a "dying" fandom, it's awful lively is all I'm saying.
