Kill Me Now

Tonight was an experience in running me ragged. Sundays are usually pretty slow, but from about seven-thirty to ten-thirty there was a rush on the fountain. Plus, the other girl who was supposed to be working with me today didn't show up. One of the carhops would stop by and help me whenever they could.
Thankfully, A (one of the carhops) stocked for me tonight, so I just had to clean up when it was time to close. Love her so much!
Also, thankfully, did not kill any of my coworkers with a dull knife, despite their best efforts.
In writing news, I need to work on my ficathon entries. Bleh, don' wanna write HP! However, they'd work out the best for the challenges I got assigned.
Ryuu, can you kick my ass on Wednesday if I haven't written the first draft of the Snape thing I told you about? Pretty please?
The normal fanfiction is proceeding apace: the Buffy fic actually got a few sentences added to it, and I know where I need to go next in the Harry Potter fic I want to write. Now I just need to sit down and actually write that sucker out. I've still got outlines for two major JCA fics, as well as the beginnings of each. Ought to sit down and do something with those sometime. BW ficlet still being betaed. G1 OC fic proceeding apace, and I actually started the Reflector fic.
Now, the fun part is to see what I can force myself to finish. There's a reason I usually only post short fics.
Fortunately, when I actually have a plot, it doesn't take much for me to keep plugging away at a fic.
Art news... Got a render in the post-working stage. I think. There's a few magical effects I want to add, which means I may have to adjust the lighting and re-render the scene entirely.
As a final thought... When I was trying to hook up my female OC with Megatron (bad me!), she felt stilted and uncomfortable, no matter what justifications I tried to use. When I took her away from Megatron and let her fall in love with a fellow tech, she got much happier and actually started to develop as a character. Apparently my sub-conscious knows how to disable my attempts at badfic better than my conscious does. ;-P
