It is time to balance my meme karma, since I've been abusing both suzukiblu and banditjoeykuba's awesomeness lately.

So I will be writing anything Avatar, Transformers: Deadzone, or Transformers: Animated in the comments. Including any AU I've babbled at you about. Or any AU you can think of. Or anything involving my OCs. (I will only write other people's OCs with their permission, so you'll have to get their permission first and have them communicate it to me.)

Restrictions:
- Three requests per person, unless I tell you you can ask for more
- If you ask for "So-and-so is awesome", I am putting my iPod on shuffle and writing to whatever song comes up first

(I... need to write more of my Dai Li instead of letting Pux write them all the time. On the other hand, I write her OCs a lot more than she does. We're kind of weird.)

CLEARLY. Who do I bug for pretty Maiko icons? I know who does pretty Zutara ones (that chick what did the 'Talk Dirty' icon) and who does pretty Jetko icons (you), but I am not sure about pretty Maiko.

Hm, I don't know. I have a really good MAI one I need to finish, but that's about it. I haven't seen too much Maiko awesome. Maybe I'll try this weekend.

(I need to think of more short Dai Li fic, instead of filing a lot of stuff away as history or sprawling out into really long things. Seriously. Also, I kind of want to do stuff with Jae as an adolescent, but I also kind of don't want to touch that with a ten foot pole without doing some serious research.)

I admit, my general reaction to ship-wars is "get the fuck away from me, you crazy people, because really, WHO CARES? write fanfic/draw fanart". But I know what side I would have been on, and it wasn't a side that cared about who Katara was dating.

I have nothing against Kataang, or any other pairing involving Aang and Katara. I just don't have the same amount of... emotional investment? caring? random stuff? with them as I do with Maiko.

I admit, it's not like I OTP Maiko or anything. As long as people do right by Mai, I am pretty chill with other Zuko and Mai pairings. (They don't have to do right by Zuko, oddly enough, to make me happy.)

I don't know why fandom is so disinterested. I think for me, I just need the right hook to be all over them. Like how I was "Oh GOD, DIE" about Iroh/Ursa because EVERYONE DOES IT WITH ZUKO AS HIS KID, and then Suzuki went "I had an interesting idea of Azula being Iroh's kid" and I went <3333333!

Yeah, people will torment and abuse Zuko, but they don't seem to actually bash him. It's weird. And annoying. And further proof of the different standards fandom has for boys and girls. *hugs Mai*

Toph/Ozai, was what it was, and *in character* was the challenge.

I have it as, some years later, Toph realizes that the boys are afraid of her, she's tired of pretending, and goes to the one guy she's not afraid of breaking nor afraid to break. (Prisoner!Ozai seems to be my bicycle, sometimes, as much as anyone is)
