Well, it's been almost ten years since I was here last.

Definitely miss knowing where to go for good icons. Lot of ones I'd love to pick up. Especially some B. Dylan Hollis quotes from his tiktoks.

This is apparently part of the art for a Shakespeare festival somewhere in America. That is all I know of its origins; I found it already made as an icon and "omigod, want." I should use it more, but there are fewer situations calling for Shakespeare revealing his S than you might think.



You know this to be true. I must admit, I didn't start falling for Norrington until the second and third movies. Scruffington helped a lot, but his death- *wibbles* That was a beautiful, heroic death, and I loved him.



mike_smith started reading Harry Potter with... "The Half-Blood Prince", I want to say. He was not impressed with it. He has since read the entire series. I am pretty sure he is still not impressed with it.



othellia has a project of going through and iconning each episode of AtLA. She's still in Season One right now - this particular one is from her latest batch with "The Storm". I actually have a lot of her icons. She's funny, and the icons are readable.



It. Would. Be. Awesome.

Because if I talked about training, I'd probably wind up discussing various ways to commit check-fraud. While I think that's useful information, it's not something I want to discuss in a blog entry.

Y'know, I thought the name of the comm was 100x100_brushes. As in the size of LJ icons, since the primary focus of the community is icon-sized brushes. So why are some of the image packs I'm downloading full of much larger than 100x100 brushes?* I mean, one of those was 600x235.

You know what really riled me up, though? Those of you making huge brushes couldn't be bothered to crop out the extraneous white space. When I'm in my converting-imagepacks groove, I just like to go from one image to the next and make it into a brush without having to add extra steps. Grrg.

On the upside, I have some lovely new brushes and gradients, whee! Now I just need a nice high-quality of cap of Optimus and Elita at the end of "The Search for Alpha Trion". (There's a specific one I'm looking for, which will have to wait until I get back to my DVDs to grab. The screenshot on Seibertron.com doesn't work for me.)

*This is allowable by community rules, actually. I'm just grumpy.

You know, if there was a package just for more icon space on LJ, I'd pick it up. Re-shuffling my collection whenever I want to use a different one irritates me.

You know, if I didn't have to pay to have my null mood icons on Livejournal, I'd seriously consider moving over to here.

However, between my vast user picture collection that I paid for and my null mood icons that I got for free, Deadjournal is my home and temple.
